In 2008, halfway through a six-week fight camp in Thailand, Shaun broke his ribs — and still stepped into the ring for a shot at the world Muay Thai title.

That grit is matched by decades of fight-proven experience as a BJJ black belt, Muay Thai title contender, and veteran of full-contact karate and MMA.

He’s trained with world champions, lived and trained daily with former Rajadamnern Stadium Champion Jom Bing, and tested his skills everywhere from the street to the ring.

Today, he brings that same toughness to every class, teaching practical, pressure-tested jiu jitsu that works anywhere.

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

  • The short answer is, YES! Our classes are designed to accomodate all skill levels, and it’s one of the real beauties of BJJ that truly anyone, from the most experienced black belts to the brand new white belts, share the matt space together and learn from each other. Don’t overthink it. Come along and see for yourself!

  • Maybe at other gyms (we hope not), but DEFINITELY not at ours. Jiu-Jitsu is not only effective, it’s also an EXTREMELY fun way to get (and keep) fit, and our mission to help more people build the kinda of confidence that can only come from a strong and skillful body. It’s a judgement free zone. Don’t make excuses. Come train.

  • Just workout clothes is fine. If you have rash guards or compression shirts, they’re ideal, but any gym gear (WITHOUT ZIPS) will be fine. We will provide GI’s for those doing free trials. Apart from that, lots of water!

  • Short answer: yes! Both are extremely important for self-defence and technique, so we train both, often! If you have no idea what ‘Gi’ means, don’t stress, just come along and find out :)
